No Reserve: 1964 Ford Thunderbird Landau Coupe for sale on BaT Auctions – ending July 28 (Lot #202,390)

This 1964 Ford Thunderbird Landau coupe is powered by a 390ci V8 mated to a Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in turquoise over blue vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a black vinyl-covered Landau hardtop roof, 15″ steel wheels with covers, quad headlights, rear fender skirts, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a power-adjustable driver seat, a curved rear bench, power windows, a swing-away steering wheel, an AM radio, and SelectAire air conditioning. The car was sold on BaT in June 2021 and relocated to Maryland, where it was recently acquired by the selling dealer. This Thunderbird is now offered at no reserve with a shop manual, spare parts, and a clean Maryland title.

The car left the factory finished in Brittany Blue (Q), and was repainted its current shade of turquoise during prior ownership. Features include a black vinyl-covered Landau hardtop roof with chrome Landau bars, a wrap-around chrome-finished front bumper, quad headlights, gun-sight front turn signals, and a chrome pinched-loop-style rear bumper. Photos showing a dent in the front grille surround, corrosion above the driver-side fender skirt, and bubbling along the base of the Landau top are included in the gallery.

The 15″ steel wheels are fitted with covers and mounted with 215/75 Cooper Trendsetter SE thin-whitewall tires. The car came equipped from the factory with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted drum brakes at each corner.
